Release date: September 27, 2007

Please note that Sage Summit takes place November 3-6, 2007, not 2006, as previously stated below.

Acclaimed "rags to riches" success Christopher Gardner to participate in joint keynote, plus featured speakers from various small business and industry trade media to share observations on business and market trends, as well as formulas for business success

Irvine, Calif. - September 27, 2007 - Sage Software announced today details of its keynote and featured speakers for Sage Summit, the company's annual customer conference, taking place November 3-6, 2006 in Chicago. This 4-day event offers the opportunity for small and mid-sized businesses who are users of Sage Software products and services to network, gain insight to better utilize their software and services, and learn about the latest industry and business trends affecting their organizations.

Sage Summit will formally open with a joint keynote on Sunday, November 4th starting at 2:30 p.m. (CST) featuring Ron Verni, Sage Software CEO, recently named one of 2007's "Top 100 Most Influential People" by Accounting Today magazine; Nina Smith, Sage Software president, Business Management Division; Doug Meyer, Sage Software president, Industry & Specialized Solutions Division, plus; special guest Christopher Gardner, CEO of Christopher Gardner International Holdings, and the inspiration for the recent box office smash, The Pursuit of Happyness.

Gardner is the owner and CEO of Christopher Gardner International Holdings, with offices in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. Surmounting acute obstacles on his road to success, Gardner will articulate his keys to self-empowerment, beating the odds, and breaking the negative cycles that keep people from succeeding.

Additional featured speakers at Sage Summit include Rieva Lesonsky, Editorial Director of Entrepreneur magazine; Bob Scott, Editor-In-Chief of Accounting Technology magazine; Kevin Parker, Editorial Director of Manufacturing Business Technology magazine, and; Marshall Lager, Senior Editor of CRM magazine.

Rieva Lesonsky, Editorial Director of Entrepreneur magazine, will host an interactive session in which attendees will discuss a variety of current issues and general business cases identified by the audience. During the session, Lesonsky will offer her suggestions and insights based on years of observing the in's and out's of what makes small businesses successful.

Kevin Parker, Editorial Director of Manufacturing Business Technology magazine, will explore the most pertinent issues impacting the manufacturing industry today and how information technology can truly give small businesses the competitive advantage they need.

Marshall Lager, Senior Editor of CRM magazine, will examine the key issues in what is perhaps the hottest business management application for small and mid-sized businesses today, with more and more businesses implementing CRM systems, including discussing what's the best way to go-hosted or on-premises, and what business owners might see over the next few years and what they need to do to maximize CRM in their own business.

Bob Scott, Editor-In-Chief of Accounting Technology magazine, will share his observations on current trends in the accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) market, and ways small and mid-sized business owners can address some of the technology challenges their companies face now, while effectively planning for the future.

Sage Summit will also feature a "State of the Construction Industry" panel discussion, led by editors from several national construction trade publications. Panelists will outline trends such as Green Building, BIM technology, market strengths and opportunities, as well as the importance of integration, collaboration and succession planning.

More details on the expert knowledge the keynote speakers will be sharing with Sage Summit attendees is available at the Sage Summit web site, www.sagesummit.com/agenda/keyspeaker/index.cfm.
