DCR will integrate CIC's electronic signature solutions into its DataVantage Global® products to secure audit reports and system configuration files for the financial services industry and other business and government sectors. Audit-related reports that can be trusted are critical in a business or government environment involved with high-value sensitive information. Effective auditing requires that the auditors know who has access to prepare or alter information under audit.

In complex Information Communication Technology scenarios, such as securing information for enterprise-wide environments that have multiple levels of security access, it is essential not only that the information be secured but also the software that processes the information. Software processing the information is configured and customized through configuration or property files. Utilizing the transcript functionality of DataVantage Global® in conjunction with CIC's eSignature technology permits enterprise users to "lock down" their configuration and property files. In addition to protecting these files from unauthorized alteration, there is an added benefit of knowing that only certain "authorized" parties have the ability to change this most critical information.
