Filtration and Sorbent Specialist Becker Named a Lead Distributor of New, More Absorbent Pad
Fire-retardant EverSoak(TM) pads with double absorbency now part of Becker's spill-containment inventory for industrial and aviation companies
Lombard - Filtration and sorbent distributor Becker and Associates, Inc. has been named a lead distributor of the new EverSoak Brand(TM) sorbent produced by spill-control specialist Sellars Wipers and Sorbents.
The cellulose-based pads, made with Sellars' patent-pending Q-CEL(TM) technology, have been shown to be an average twice as absorbent as the leading polypropylene brands, and at a comparable price. The laminated, high-bulk pads are 19"x15" and available in boxes of 50. Rolls measuring 29"x75' (one per box) and 14.5"x75' (two per box) also are available.
The general purpose pads eliminate the need to buy one product for its absorbency, another for its durability and another for its price, all while reducing waste disposal costs for manufacturers in any industry. They are fire-retardant, strong, and can be used to clean up more than 90 percent of industrial spills. Sellars' Q-CEL(TM) technology has met the ISO 9073-6 "Textiles - Test methods for nonwovens - Part 6: Absorption" standards. The EverSoak(TM) brand pad also was tested to the ASTM E84 Standard Test Method by SGS U.S. Testing Co. and found to meet the flame spread and smoke density classification requirements of NFPA Class B.
