New Way Air Bearings Release date: August 23, 2007
Aston, Pennsylvania, USA, August 23, 2007 - New Way® Air Bearings, the world's largest independent air bearing manufacturer, has been named to Inc. Magazine's list of the 5,000 fastest-growing, private companies in America for 2007, the publication reported Thursday.
New Way Air Bearings ranked as No. 2,294 on the Inc. 5,000 list, which measures companies by revenue growth from 2003 to 2006.
"New Way Air Bearings is proud to be included in the Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest-growing, private companies in America," said New Way chairman and chief technology officer Drew Devitt. "This honor reflects the innovation of New Way's air bearing technology and the tremendous growth that it has enabled us to achieve."
"As a manufacturer, we are especially pleased to be included on this list," added New Way president Nick Hackett. "While many US companies today are moving manufacturing offshore, we continue to manufacture world-class products right here in Aston, Pennsylvania. The only thing we're exporting is our product, and lots of it, especially to the Far East. This makes our high ranking even sweeter."
Historically the Inc. list has included 500 companies, but this year it has expanded to include 4,500 more dynamic businesses. The top 500 will appear in the September 2007 issue of Inc., while all 5,000 will be featured on Inc.com. In September, all will be recognized at the 2007 Inc. 500 conference in Chicago.
