Effective immediately, Misumi USA, Inc. proudly announces the appointment of Mr. Masanori Suzuki at President. Mr. Suzuki, 43, was formerly the General Manager of the Strategic Planning Department for Misumi Corporation in Japan, the parent company of Misumi USA. In that capacity, he engaged in organizational restructuring and the exploration of merger & acquisition opportunities to sell non-core business units and strengthen the company's supply capability.
Prior to joining Misumi, Suzuki was VP of the Service Department for i2 Technologies Japan in Tokyo, where his team was responsible for servicing clients in software implementations and supply chain management operations. He has also served as Chief of the Change Promotion Center for Showa Shell Sekiyu K.K. in Tokyo, where he managed refinery economics and was actively involved in various M&A activities.
A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where he attained his MBA, Suzuki received his Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Keio University in Japan.
