August 9, 2007- Newberg, Oregon Harco Manufacturing Co. a leading fabricator of premium Engine Exhaust Silencers and Emission Control products announced the development of a combination Diesel Particulate Filter/Selective Catalytic Reduction (DPF/SCR) package for the Gen-Set market. In partnership with Steuler Anlagenbau GmbH & Co KG, a leading producer of SCRs and Sud-Chemie, Inc., a worldwide producer of catalysts and filters, Harco Manufacturing has developed a combination Diesel Particulate Filter/Selective Catalytic Reduction package that takes the place of the silencer. The unique compact design unit is also particularly suitable for the Prime Power Distribution and other applications required to comply with new tough N0x and Diesel Particulate reduction requirements. The system can reduce N0x by 40-95% and PM by 85+%.

The first customer to purchase one of these new systems is PGE, Portland, Oregon's Public Utility Company.
