Sussman Offers Small "Footprints" in Vertical Design Boilers
For over 75 years Sussman electric boilers have been filling steam and hot water requirements. Now we have expanded on our horizontal boiler offering to include vertical designs for minimal floor space.
Some advantages of our featured vertical designs are low watt density heating elements for efficient heat transfer that requires minimal space for servicing. Since multiple numbers of heating elements are used single element failure does not cause a large decrease in output. In vertical boilers the water line to the steam outlet distance is farther than most horizontal designs. The farther away the water level is from the steam outlet the more difficult it is to entrain water into the steam flow. Vertical boiler designs using a smaller quantity of water for the same kW can result in less pressure drop.
The full range of our standard boiler product lines includes industrial, commercial and specialized uses with outputs to 6,000 PPH steam and 9,200 MBH hot water. All steam electric boilers are built to ASME codes for carbon and stainless steel and standard designs are built to UL and CSA requirements.
