CULTEC, INC. Adds Hydro-Tech Consulting, Inc. as New Manufacturer Representative
BROOKFIELD, CT/June 29, 2007 - CULTEC, Inc., a manufacturer of plastic chambers used in subsurface retention/detention stormwater management systems and septic applications, announces its newest manufacturer representative, Hydro-Tech Consulting, Inc.
Founded in 1994 by Abbas A. Fiuzat, Hydro-Tech Consulting, Inc. is a provider of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and engineering services for a variety of environmental conditions. Based in Clemson, South Carolina, the company will help promote CULTEC's Contactor® and Recharger® stormwater systems throughout upstate South Carolina and southwest North Carolina.
CULTEC chambers are designed for use in underground stormwater retention/detention fields or septic leachfields. The units are dome-shaped, and incorporate fully opened bottoms and perforated sidewalls for maximum infiltration. Each chamber stores water within the dome void until it can be infiltrated into the ground. For contractors and developers, the chambers are a practical alternative to heavy, concrete structures or large diameter pipe. CULTEC chambers are lightweight and can be installed easily by just one or two workers. The units' polyethylene construction provides long life and durability.
