Patton Electronics

Release date: May 22, 2007

GAITHERSBURG, Md., May 22: Patton - the leader in business-class network access, connectivity, and VoIP equipment - now publishes two network-equipment catalogs that are updated continuously and printed on-demand in their US manufacturing facility.

To better display their 1,000-plus products ranging from interface adapters to carrier-class voice gateways, Patton has organized their full-color catalog into two volumes, totaling over 300 pages.

The 172-page Network Access catalog comprises such high-performance equipment as IPLink(TM) managed-VPN routers, and SmartNode(TM), the industry's most interoperable VoIP equipment delivering comprehensive network survivability.

The 136-page Connectivity catalog encompasses devices ranging from baluns, interface converters, and line drivers to EtherBITS(TM) device servers and CopperLink(TM) Ethernet Extenders.

Designed for perpetual revision, Patton's dual catalogs accommodate an ever-expanding selection of equipment for enterprise, carrier, and industrial networks. Producing their catalog as separate volumes signals the manufacturing firm's expectations for continued growth.

"We're always innovating," said Robert R. Patton, President, "enhancing our offerings with faster, better and cheaper technologies. Real-time publishing is a perfect fit. It keeps our publications alive... always fresh with the latest and greatest from Patton."

Patton pumps out new products at a rapid pace. The recently-announced "Parade of New Products" launched seven new model series - including the micro-sized SIPxNano(TM) IP-PBX, the CopperLink(TM) 2172 50-Mbps Ethernet Extender, and EnviroNET(TM) hardened-industrial network equipment.

"Our catalogs have it all covered," said Scott Whittle, VP of Product Management, "from the cloud to the customer premise and everything in between. Patton delivers voice, data, and triple-play solutions for any business, carrier or service provider."

A dizzying array of equipment with a global customer base has sustained Patton through severe downturns in the telecom/datacom sector to achieve profitable growth each year.

Incorporated in 1984, Patton rose from humble beginnings as a widget maker to create the Ethernet Extender market in the late 1990s. Today, the family-owned business supplies operators and service providers around the globe (Avantel, green, inode) with carrier-class SmartNode(TM) VoIP equipment and ForeFront(TM) multi-service access-infrastructure solutions.

Printed full-color copies of new Patton catalogs list for $2.00 each and can be ordered online from http://www.patton.com/catreq/ .

Free soft copies of both catalogs in PDF format can be downloaded from http://www.patton.com/catalogs/ .
