Global Control "S" Upgrade to Edgemaster/Edgemate
MG Systems has upgraded the EdgeMate® and EdgeMaster® plasma and oxyfuel cutting machines with its new CNC control, the Global Control S. This control is based off the success and proven technology of the original MG Global Control, the Global Control Plus. The new Global Control S provides an easy to use touch screen interface and the familiar Windows® screen layout, allowing even novice operators to master machine operation quickly. The Global Control S also features the remote diagnostic software, Virtual Service, to allow advanced troubleshooting capability to minimize downtime. Additional upgrades to the EdgeMate and EdgeMaster include new powerful drives and new faster lifters. The new high performance drives provide 2.3 hp (1.7 kW) of high quality motion in both the X and Y axis. The new plasma lifter OL-200s and oxyfuel lifter TL-170 (optional upgrade to the OL200 lifter) offer faster speeds and greater position accuracy than previous designs.
