Systems Material Handling Company Promotes John Gaughan to Director of Business Development Olathe, Kansas: Systems Material Handling Co. (SMH), a world-leading manufacturer and distributor of quality replacement parts and accessories for the material handling industry, recently promoted John Gaughan to Director of Business Development. Located in the Grayslake, Illinois facility, Gaughan will have direct responsibility for all U.S. Sales for the Intrupa, LPM and TotalSource brands. Dirk von Holt, V.P. Sales & Marketing for SMH states, "With more than 25 years of material handling sales experience, John Gaughan is an expert in the industry. His extensive knowledge of the Material Handling Dealer Network makes him ideal for this position."
Prior to joining SMH in 2004, Gaughan held positions with Nissan and Grayon Industrial Parts as well as the recently acquired IMC Holdings from 1988 to 2001. He has been instrumental in the building of SMH's outside Business Development team and will continue in his efforts to improve and expand support to existing and new customers.
