LAS VEGAS, April 16 - NAB Booth: C7736 - Maxell Corporation of America's Professional Media Products Division displays its comprehensive line of professional broadcast quality DVD media at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) convention in Las Vegas including a DVD printing demonstration with Maxell's PI Plus Series Printable media that is well suited for video production environments and commercial duplicators.
With 4.7 GB of capacity, Maxell's DVD-R Broadcast Quality products offer a long archival life, a high rate of compatibility and is backed up by a lifetime warranty to ensure its customer have performance based media for wide spectrum of needs. Maxell DVD-R Broadcast Quality is ideal for professional capacity-intensive video projects, multimedia presentations, data transfer and long-term archival storage.
The Maxell DVD-R Broadcast Quality media with MAXPRO Hardcoat Technology is 40 times more scratch-resistant and 20 times more dust resistant than standard discs and a shelf life of more than twice that of standard disc-based media.
The Maxell PI Plus Series Printable media and DVD-R Broadcast Quality media with MAXPRO Hardcoat Technology(TM) is one of the most compatible media formats ideal for use in both CD/DVD inkjet and thermal printers. Maxell is showcasing these printing capabilities at NAB with the Primera Bravo XRP Series disc publishing system, which delivers fast and efficient disc burning and printing.
The DVD-R Plus series is available in 50-disc spindles with the following specifications to meet customer needs: Print-To-Center Inkjet White Matte, Print-To-Center Inkjet Silver Matte, Thermal Shiny Silver and Thermal Shiny White. In addition Maxell offers Non-print to center in Thermal Shiny Silver and Thermal White.
