March Networks Corporation

Release date: April 16, 2007

OTTAWA, April 16 -- March Networks(TM) (TSX:MN; AIM:MNW), a leading provider of Internet Protocol (IP)-based digital video surveillance solutions, announced today that it will work with BT Redcare Group, a division of BT Group plc, to offer advanced digital video solutions to organizations in the United Kingdom.

Digital video surveillance and sophisticated video analytics are important business applications that can be added to an organization's IP network - allowing video services to extend beyond traditional physical security and into asset management, risk mitigation, and operations management. As leading network service providers continue to enhance their product and service offerings, networked video and video analytics are logical extensions that provide significant value to customers.

BT Redcare and March Networks will jointly market and sell integrated security, network, and business solutions in the U.K. Target customers will initially include those in the retail, logistics and financial sectors.

"Our aim is to enable clients to work in a more secure environment, as well as make better business decisions, using world-class digital video solutions," said Chet Patel, CEO of BT Redcare Group. "We look forward to working with March Networks to drive further business value for our clients in the U.K."

"The emergence of a multi-billion dollar industry for IP-based digital video solutions has seen a rise in the interest levels of network service providers from around the world," said Peter Strom, President and CEO of March Networks. "Combining industry-best networking video solutions from March Networks with BT Redcare's extensive offerings will be of tremendous value to our joint customers and prospects."
