Ransohoff

Release date: March 8, 2007

Cincinnati OH / Minnetonka, MN - Cleaning Technologies Group, LLC. (CTG) today announced that its Ransohoff business unit has reached an agreement in principal with General Electric (GE) Osmonics Division to acquire the exclusive rights to design, manufacture, sell and support the full line of the WasteWizard® family of industrial fluid recycling systems.

According to Jim McEachen, CEO of the Cleaning Technologies Group, "This acquisition allows to us to better serve our customers who have a growing need to purify and recycle spent industrial fluids. It is also an ideal fit with our overall group strategy in that it improves our position within the cleaning systems market sector while further strengthening our ability to provide our customers with the broadest range of advanced technology in the industry today."

Cary Marshall from Osmonics, Inc. says, "The design of the WasteWizard® industrial fluid recycling systems employs new filtration technology for recycling aqueous cleaner baths, mass finishing compounds, and other waterbased industrial fluids and is a very good fit for CTG."

WasteWizard® fluid recycling systems are designed as low maintenance, point-of-use devices with a patented rotating disk filter coupled with UltraFilic® membrane to filter out and collect the soils that reduce the useful life of valuable fluids. These hands off, automated systems reduce labor costs, product rework costs, chemical and cleaner costs and waste processing and hauling costs.

The Cleaning Technologies Group, LLC is an operating company under NM Group Global, LLC which is a holding company for National Machinery LLC, the world leader in the development and manufacture of cold forming machine and process technology, as well as aftermarket services. Headquartered in Tiffin, Ohio with service centers and sales offices throughout the world, National Machinery was founded in 1874. CTG is comprised of Ransohoff of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Blackstone~NEY Ultrasonics of Jamestown, New York. Employing more than 175 people, the Group is the premier provider of environmentally friendly parts-cleaning and waste-minimization equipment and services to the global marketplace.
