GF Valve Phase Out 2007
With the addition of the new products introduced in 2007 to the Valves and Actuation product offering, two products will be phased out. The replacement products are the latest design with performance improvements and added features.
Type 370 Ball Valve
The Type 370 ball valve in manual and actuated versions will be discontinued October 1, 2007. This valve was available in 2½", 3", and 4". It is replaced by the large diameter Type 546 ball valve. Repair parts will be available for two years. The new large diameter 546 valves are also available in manual or actuated versions.
Type 367 Wafer Style Butterfly Valve
The Type 367 butterfly valve in manual and actuated versions in sizes 2½" to 8" will be discontinued on October 1, 2007. The 10" and 12" will be discontinued some time in 2008. The new Type 567 butterfly valve replaces the 367 and is available in 2" to 8". Later this year, the 567 valve will be available in 10" and 12".
Announcements will follow regarding the details of the 10" and 12" butterfly valves.
Replacement parts for the Type 367 valve will be available for two years.
