Rotary Precision Instruments UK Ltd (RPI) now offers the full Tsudakoma range of machining rotary tables and accessories. The addition of Tsudakoma's high quality yet economical rotary tables neatly compliments RPI's existing range of high accuracy high load capacity machining tables.
Tsudakoma recognises that precision 5-axis machining requires not only a capable machine tool and control, but most importantly, a rotary table with speed, clamping power and build quality necessary for reliable production of parts with demanding accuracies. To satisfy these requirements, TSUDAKOMA has introduced to their TN series their new super compact TN-130, their fastest and most powerful NC tilting rotary table.
Through innovation and increased technology the TN-130 is steadily helping to give Tsudakoma a significant advantage over their competitors. The TN-130 gear tooth profile is substantially deeper than competitive systems and the worm gear diameter is substantially larger, resulting in torque transmission of two or three times that of competitive systems. The combination of these features allows Tsudakoma rotary tables to take full advantage of high speed servo machining, dramatically reducing cycle times, and more precise parts. The Tsudakoma TN-130 also utilizes a newly designed pneumatic clamping system. This patent applied for system achieves clamping forces typically associated with hydraulic systems. This massive clamping force generated on the TN-130 enables high precision machining far from the tilting-axis center where the moment load is larger. Tsudakoma also include options for the TN-130 super compact NC tilting rotary table enabling the table to be easily configured with high resolution rotary scales on both axes, other options include a pull stud device and a rotary joint option.
