Freeport LNG Selects Enviance For Environmental, Health, & Safety Compliance
World's Only Internet-based Compliance Management System Powers State-of-the-Art Liquid Natural Gas Facility
CARLSBAD, CA - February 27, 2007 - Enviance, the leading provider of Internet-based, on-demand systems for the management and automation of environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance activities, today announced that Freeport LNG Development, L.P., developer of the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal to be built in the U.S. in more than 20 years, has chosen the Enviance System for the management, automation, and reporting of EHS compliance. The selection reinforces Freeport LNG's position as the developer of one of the most technically advanced LNG Regas Terminal in the world that will process over 1.5 billion cubic feet of gas per day when completed.
The Enviance System is an Internet-based service that allows facilities in the energy, utility, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries to centrally manage in real-time all aspects of regulatory compliance, dramatically improving operations efficiency. Because the Enviance System is the only compliance management platform based on software-as-a-service (SaaS), costs are kept low and integration is immediate since no additional software or hardware installations are required on the customer's end.
Freeport LNG will utilize the Enviance System for managing construction permits as the facility, already in the building phase, prepares to go live in 2008. Freeport LNG will also use the Enviance System to manage contractual obligations during construction and operation of the facility. The inherent and distinct qualities of Enviance's Internet-based service enable Freeport LNG to manage permits and contracts even before their own data center is in place - a crucial aspect to project completion. After construction, Freeport LNG will leverage Enviance for the day-to-day management, automation and reporting of air, water and safety compliance activities.

The Freeport LNG project is located in Brazoria County, Texas and, upon completion, will consist of an LNG receiving, docking, storage and vaporization facilities, along with associated piping and equipment.
