Instrument-Grade Proportional Valve Family Offers New Performance Range for Demanding Gas Control Applications
CHICAGO, FEB. 26, 2007 - Parker Hannifin announces a ten-fold increase in the flow capacity of its highly successful miniature proportional valve product line. Gas flow ranges of 0.001 LPM to 240 LPM now can be controlled with common miniature form-factors, enabling a single valve to be used where two or three were previously required. The resulting space savings and reduced power consumption is critical for today's light weight portable medical and analytical instruments.
The new capabilities build on the successful VSO® (voltage sensitive orifice) valve family which features "medical grade" leak specifications, analytically clean bodies, and proven reliability with over 100 million cycle life. The VSO proportional valves feature both barbed and face seal manifold bodies and three standard-control voltage ranges (0-5, 0-12 & -24 VDC).
