Cincinnati Automation Releases an Automated Inspection System for Molded Products
Cincinnati Automation releases an automated inspection system for large molded products such as corian sinks. The machine included a part in-feed conveyor, a Cognex vision camera to verify correct part and features, a line displacement/measurement laser, an x-y-theta robot, and a 2 lane unload conveyor. Other features included an AB PLC, a touch screen HMI, an industrial PC loaded with RS Linx and MS Excel that was used to calculate overall warp on the product under test.
