New Cole-Parmer®-Brand Plasticware
Vernon Hills, Ill., September 28, 2006 - Cole-Parmer introduces a new line of proprietary plasticware that includes narrow- and wide-mouth bottles, wash bottles, and beakers, economically bulk-packed for greater cost savings.
Bottles are offered in three different materials-LDPE, HDPE, and PP-with leakproof PP enclosures included. Translucent LDPE bottles are ideal for food and general laboratory use. HDPE bottles are manufactured with FDA-approved resin for noncontaminating storage of chemicals and food-grade products. Rigid PP bottles offer superior chemical resistance and are ideal for storage and sampling of liquids and solids.
Wash bottles are manufactured of LDPE and feature a built-in dispenser that gives an ultrafine stream. Contents can be dispensed without tilting the bottle and the wide mouth allows for faster, easier filling.
Griffin-style graduated beakers are manufactured of PP and offer superior chemical resistance. They can withstand temperatures to 275°F (135°C).
