Peter Knowles, President, HIRSCHMANN Engineering USA, Inc., Elgin, Illinois, announces that Gary D. Kinsey has rejoined HIRSCHMANN Engineering as a Regional Sales Manager. He is responsible for selling and servicing the entire HIRSCHMANN product line in the Mid and Southeast regions of the United States. Kinsey previously was with HIRSCHMANN from 2001 to 2006.
Mr. Kinsey began his career in Logansport, Indiana. With over 21 years of hands-on experience in EDM and the tool and die industry, both as an employee and as an owner, he brings his expertise in marketplace knowledge and manufacturing solutions to HIRSCHMANN customers and prospects.
Besides his on-the-job training, Gary has an Associates Degree in Tool Engineering from IT & T Technical Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In his position, Kinsey is responsible for selling the complete HIRSCHMANN product line that includes their own integrated robotic EROBOT Series and a complete line of high precision tooling to support EDM and CNC machining, as well as integrated rotary tables for Wire and RAM EDMs. HIRSCHMANN is a licensed integrator of FANUC Robotics and offers Cell Control software for automation, which Kinsey will also sell and service. In addition Kinsey will sell Oel-Held fluids that are exclusively imported by HIRSCHMANN and include Ionoplus® synthetic dielectric fluid and SintoGrind® high-speed synthetic grinding fluid.

The father of three, Gary resides with his wife in Logansport. Gary watched all three of his children swim competitively from the "Y" through high school and in the case of one child through college. No longer a spectator, he now is a very enthusiastic swim coach for the Special Olympics. Also a licensed pilot, any spare time is spent flying.
