Krud Kutter The Must for Rust provides superior corrosion protection for equipment, structures, and maintenance needs. The non-flammable, water-based, biodegradable formulation was developed to use in virtually any environmental condition. It can be used as a single coat primer or in conjunction with other primers and topcoats. The Must for Rust is not a rust converter, but rather dissolves rust and oxidation through chemical action.
The proprietary formulation penetrates into every void of a metal surface. Once all of the rust has been dissolved, tiny, rust-inhibiting crystals are formed and become integral with the surface molecules of the metal to resist future rusting. The corrosive agents attack these crystals instead of the metal. Once completely dry, the surface is ready for the next step, whether it be painting, welding, plating, lubricating, etc. Or simply leave the surface bare, and the crystals will inhibit future rust formation.
When dry, The Must for Rust accepts any primer, paint, coating, etc., and provides a clean surface free of contaminants, which allow a secure bond for coating. When chips or breaks appear in the coating, the surface underneath will limit the rust to the break. That means that rust won't spread under the coating and maintenance touch-ups will be quicker and easier.
Krud Kutter The Must for Rust is available in 32oz. trigger spray bottles (part no. MR32/6), 1-gallon bottles (part no. MR01/6), 5-gallon pails (part no. MR05), and 55-gallon drums (part no. MR55). MSDS-Material Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets are available at any time upon request.
