Secaucus, NJ (January 19, 2007) - Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company of America (PSSA), recently hosted a two-day meeting for their Panasonic Premier Integrators (PPI) to better acquaint them with the company's new products and capabilities.

The meeting, held at Panasonic's corporate headquarters, attracted 50 PPIs as well as representatives from each Panasonic Security Systems' rep organization.

"When our sales channel succeeds, so do we and this sales and new product training meeting provided our PPIs with valuable information to supplement their sales activities," said Frank DeFina, President, PSSA. "The educational needs of our PPIs are important to us and events like these allow for a much closer collaboration on identifying and providing the Panasonic solutions that best meet today's network video and security surveillance market demands."

Anchoring the product training sessions were the new i-Pro IP products which consist of the WV-NS202 Color Network PTZ Dome Camera, the WV-NF284 Color Network Mini Dome Camera, the WJ-ND200 Network Video Recorder, and the WJ-NT304 MPEG-4/JPEG Video Encoder.

Panasonic's renowned Super Dynamic III (SDIII) camera technology was also a featured technology on the agenda and new analog cameras covered included the WV-CW484 Series SDIII Vandal Proof Dome Camera, the WV-CW974 Weather Proof SDIII Outdoor PTZ, the WV-CF294/284 Series Color Dome Cameras, and the WV-CP280 Series Color Cameras,. In addition, training on the new digital video recorder, the WJ-RT416 and a new enterprise level switcher, the WJ-SX650 were also provided.
