Finaplex Wealth Relationship Management Offering Now Available via Salesforce.com's AppExchange

Financial Advisors Can Now Access Market-Leading Wealth Relationship Management Solution Integrated With the Apex on-Demand Platform

Apex Enables Finaplex to Become the salesforce.com of Wealth Relationship Management

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 16 /- Finaplex, Inc., a leading provider of wealth management applications, and salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM), the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced that Finaplex OnDemand, one of the industry's first software-as-a-service applications for wealth relationship management, is now available on the salesforce.com AppExchange. Integrated with the Apex on-demand platform, Finaplex OnDemand is now available for test drive and deployment at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange.

Finaplex has built workflow and functionality supporting the wealth relationship management advisor desktop with secure, seamless integration of a client's portfolio data into an advisor's Salesforce CRM workflow. Advisors can see their entire book of business in the Salesforce desktop, get reminder alerts driven by events in the client's portfolio, and seamlessly move into Finaplex OnDemand to act on reminder alerts.

Used together, Salesforce and Finaplex OnDemand provide a single, more comprehensive view of clients. The result is improved productivity, empowered advisors, a better customer experience, and time to serve more clients. This combination offers the possibility of more assets under management for firms that arm their advisors with the new application. Finaplex OnDemand and Salesforce provide financial advisors the following capabilities:

o Allows financial advisors to see their entire book of business in Salesforce o Salesforce pop-up reminders driven by Finaplex portfolio data o Seamlessly link to Finaplex rebalancing pages to take action o Single sign on - login once for secure access to both applications

Both applications leverage state of the art, enterprise-class technologies, including J2EE and XML, which allow key planning and investment attributes to be passed between the platforms. As a result, Salesforce customers can seamlessly switch between applications, easily accessing Finaplex's portfolio planning, investment selection, and portfolio management, extending and linking both the Salesforce and Finaplex workflows.

Finaplex OnDemand

Finaplex OnDemand is an on-demand, web-based client relationship and portfolio management application for financial advisors. The service is based on Finaplex's enterprise software offering, called Finaplex Wealth, which has been successfully deployed in the wealth management industry for the past three years. Finaplex OnDemand integrates tax lot accounting, GIPS-consistent performance measurement, CRM, proposal generation and portfolio management into a single wealth management platform. Finaplex also offers optional reconciliation services, providing a near turn-key application environment for users.

This offering was designed to be delivered as a service that can manage the full range of needs of the wealth management industry, from the desk of the independent registered investment advisor, to the largest Wall Street firms managing millions of accounts. Finaplex OnDemand can scale as a firm's wealth management business grows.
