LG Mobile Phones and Verizon Wireless Announce the LG VX9400 to support V CAST Mobile TV
Handset Features Innovative Form-Factor Designed Specifically For New Service
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7 - Today, LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc. (LG Mobile Phones) and Verizon Wireless announced the LG VX9400 will be available in the first quarter to support V CAST Mobile TV, the latest breakthrough in mobile entertainment technology. The LG VX9400 shows off a slim, stylish swing bar design with a large color LCD for optimal TV viewing and new cutting-edge features, while also offering customers the ability to access V CAST Music and Video, Get It Now® and Mobile Web 2.0(SM), plus get Bluetooth® capabilities and a 1.3 megapixel camera/camcorder. All of these multimedia-centric features make the LG VX9400 the must have device for 2007.
The LG VX9400 will be the perfect handset to view Verizon Wireless' all new V CAST Mobile TV service since customers will be able to enjoy the convenience of mobility and entertainment in one device. Additionally, with the LG VX9400's easy-to-use multitasking capability, users can take calls, messages, and when they hang up, go right back to enjoying their program -- just like if they were to step away from the television set during a program for a minute or two at home.
LG VX9400 users will also have the ability to enjoy the latest in mobile music innovation. The LG VX9400 is V CAST Music-enabled with a music player, allowing customers to download and listen to the latest hits right on their phones and the external microSD(TM) memory card slot allows them to easily move their music from their computer directly to the phone. Customers can also take their music with them by transferring files from their phone with a USB connection. In addition, users can take their music experience to the next level by pairing the LG VX9400 with a Bluetooth stereo headset to gain a totally wireless music experience.
