Scott Electronics Inc. Expands Manufacturing Capabilities in its Salem, N.H. and Nogales, Sonora Mexico Facility Assembly personnel and equipment expansion to manage new Medical, Homeland Security and Military business growth at all manufacturing locations
January 2007 Salem, NH...Scott Electronics, Inc., a Lean Manufacturing industry leader in contract assembly of box builds, harness assemblies, cables and fiber optics, has purchased new state of the art manufacturing equipment and increased employment in Salem, NH and Nogales Mexico. The new equipment in the Salem facility will allow more flexibility and fewer set-ups for application tooling in the manufacturing cells. The new employees will be used to help cover the increased medical and military growth and expected new business in 2007. The equipment and employee expansion in Mexico will allow this lean facility to increase its production in the coax and POF (plastic optical fiber) business. Scott Electronics' Mexico facility has also expanded its employee base to prepare for a new industrial printing business and 2007 growth.
