Fourstar Connections was awarded a two year "Workforce Training Grant" from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Career Services in February 2006. The steering committee working with Partners for Creative Solutions, Inc. has completed phase one, all employees trained in the fundamentals of Lean Manufacturing, and phase two, facility reorganized to accommodate Lean Manufacturing process and procedures. "The Hudson and Worcester labor market has been a key to Fourstar Connection's success during the past twenty years and lean manufacturing practices will enable us to increase efficiency, profitability, and manage our growth," says Phil Holman President of Fourstar Connections, Inc.
