Sta-DriŽ and Container DriŽ II desiccants absorb moisture from the air, preventing rust, mildew and corrosion during storage and shipping. Container DriŽ II is a specially designed single-use, adhesive backed desiccant pouch aimed at protecting cargo during shipping by absorbing moisture vapor from the air. It also reduces dew point temperature keeping cargo safe and dry. Container DriŽ II absorbs up to three times its weight in moisture, and through an advanced calcium chloride based formula, traps it as a thick, no-spill gel. It is effective in areas of up to 50 cubic feet per pouch and available in single 125 gram pouches and 6 pouches per strip varieties. Sta-DriŽ is different. With an inert clay desiccant, Sta-DriŽ pouches are ideal for corrosion sensitive uses and longer duration applications with its slower moisture pick-up. They can also be regenerated up to 3 times.
