50+ Years of Valveless Fluid Control Solutions

For over 50 years, Fluid Metering, Inc. has been providing their unique valveless, ceramic piston pump design for precision fluid control in Laboratory, Process, and Industrial applications. In addition, FMI's miniature OEM pumps have proven ideal for micro-volume fluid control in analytical, medical, and process instrumentation.

FMI's newly released 2012 Full Line Catalog introduces many new products and accessories for both OEM and end user applications. New OEM products include economical, low volume fixed displacement stepper pumps, as well as miniature, low volume pumps with isolation-glands.

Isolation glands provide a fluid barrier to isolate the process fluid from atmosphere, accommodating fluids containing particulates as well as fluids which tend to crystallize when exposed to atmosphere. Isolation gland pumps have proven ideal for dispensing of reagents, inks, and fluids containing saline such as dialysate in hemodialysis systems.

A new accessory for FMI's Sanitary Pumps is a quick-connect sanitary process fitting kit compatible with Tri-Clamp type fittings. FMI sanitary pumps are used extensively in food, pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical process applications.

Other new products include a new 200 psi pump head capable of handling extended process pressures ideal for liquid chromatography applications, and a 200 uL miniature OEM pump ideal for flush and wash functions in clinical chemistry instrumentation.

Fluid Metering's NEW 2012 Catalog is available on their web site www.fmipump.com in PDF format for immediate download. Printed copies can be requested via email or phone. The catalog details standard products, operating principles, pump capacities, drive characteristics, materials of construction, typical applications and ordering information. Fluid Metering is certified as compliant with ISO 9001:2008 quality standards.
