NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - November 9, 2006 - International Communications Group (ICG), a leading supplier of Iridium-based satellite solutions, today announced that the company has signed a partnership agreement appointing Spec Ops Inc. as an authorized reseller of ICG products.
Spec Ops Inc. designs and manufactures tactical operations center equipment for the United States military and homeland defense. The company has fulfilled more than 100 contracts over the last four years and has joined forces with ICG in order to broaden Spec Ops Inc.'s spectrum of communications engineering products and services for aeronautical, ground tactical and maritime applications.
"ICG offers a unique value proposition to our market place," said Jeff Yates, vice president of engineering for Spec Ops Inc. "Through our partnership, we will be better able to provide innovative integrated communications solutions to our customers, leveraging Iridium's seamless global connectivity for voice and data communication independent of terrestrial infrastructure."
"Spec Ops Inc. is an important addition to our distribution network," said Ray Larkin, manager of government and military programs for ICG. "Our goal is to supply Spec Ops Inc. with the equipment necessary to deliver the unique integrated voice and data applications that support military and government tactical operations."
