Equisys Announce Zetadocs Integration with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 at Documation UK
Equisys, the developer of software solutions for document production and delivery, and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, today announced product integrations that help extend Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 platforms. Equisys also announced that further integrations are planned with other Microsoft Dynamics applications.
Launched in 2005, Zetadocs is document automation and delivery software that helps users work smarter by creating, emailing and archiving business documents. New integration with Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be demonstrated for the first time at Documation UK, the UK's largest end-to-end content management show on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th October at Olympia 2, London.
"Zetadocs gives Microsoft Dynamics users the capability to eliminate paper from their finance processes, helping them improve their credit control, enhance customer service, and ensure compliance," explained Paul Crawley, Business Manager at Equisys plc. "For many companies, the production of financial documents is both labour and paper intensive, therefore delivering documents automatically as PDFs by email and by fax will reduce the amount of time spent producing the documents, cut down on the amount of paper used, and eliminate postage costs."
Zetadocs integrates directly with Microsoft's new Office SharePoint Server 2007, part of Microsoft's forthcoming new EVO platform (Exchange/Vista/Office). Using an automated process, Zetadocs can archive copies of all sent documents to a SharePoint server so that accurate customer records are kept, and are easily retrievable.
"Using SharePoint, Zetadocs enables companies to store copies of financial documents such as invoices, purchase orders and reports automatically in a central location for easy access by appropriate employees," Crawley added. "The integration with SharePoint Server 2007 highlights our commitment to developing solutions based on Microsoft platforms that enhance the proposition to Microsoft customers and partners."

The accounting department at Cedilla used to print out hundreds of statements, remittance advices and invoices on expensive pre-printed stationery each month. The average cost of printing and posting each document was estimated at 70p, on top of the cost of the time taken by administrative staff for the handling of each piece of mail. In addition, some customers were tired of receiving mailed documents and had stated a preference for email or fax.
"Zetadocs presented a simple to implement and easy to use solution for us", says Jamaine Campbell, Customer Service Director. He adds "Zetadocs can dynamically pull contact details from Microsoft Dynamics NAV, personalize the message, and email the documents as PDFs or fax them automatically."
Zetadocs enables Cedilla to send statements, invoices and remittances without any printing at all. The reduction in printing and posting has resulted in savings of over £400 each month. In addition, Zetadocs has streamlined their accounts processes, and has reduced the time wasted on repetitive, manual tasks.
Campbell continues, "Zetadocs improves our customer service and it saves us time and money. We used to spend hours each month sending out statements to all our accounts. Now it takes us a couple of minutes! We can send statements to customers at a time that is convenient for them. We can even run statements and advices more than once a month, which helps us improve our cash flow."
