SCA Packaging North America Brings Expertise Together
NA companies exhibiting together for the first time at PACK EXPO 2006
DeKalb, IL (September 20, 2006) - SCA Packaging North America will be exhibiting as a single, unified company for the first time at PACK EXPO International 2006 trade show, October 29 - November 2, McCormick Place Convention Center, Booth # S-1466. New developments in consumer, protective and temperature-assured packaging as well as new packaging equipment will demonstrate the comprehensive solutions the company now offers.

SCA Consumer Packaging AERGO(TM) CP (Club Pack) Sealing Machine - for large format club store packaging - welded clamshells and carded blister packs AERGO(TM) SL Blister Packaging Machine - straightline sealing machine automatically feeds and seals package components up to 80,000 packages per shift High Vis(TM) Sustain Pak - more sustainable packaging with reduced plastic usage and cost Deep Draw Pressure Forming - high visibility packaging for large, heavy, high-value retail products Value-Added Thermoforming - new capabilities for ink-jet bar coding and labeling during the thermoforming process
SCA Packaging NA TransGuard(TM) Returnable Totes - lightweight, durable returnable systems custom-molded from expanded polypropylene (EPP) foam plastics Green Cell(TM) Foam - environmentally safe, biodegradable foam stabilizes lightweight products during transit and provides multiple-impact protection TurtlePak(TM) Protective Shell - inner pack utilizes film and corrugated board to firmly suspend fragile products in the center of a shipper
ThermoSafeŽ 905 Media Transporter - keeps liquid bio-substances and cryo vessels at frozen or refrigerated temperatures for up to 120 hours ThermoSafeŽ Cool P.O.P. - mobile merchandising unit designed to ship, display and sell product, holds refrigerated temperatures for 10-12 days The company also will introduce show attendees to the extensive thermal testing available in its newly opened ISC Lab in Chicago. With additional labs in Philadelphia and Phoenix, and over 40 test chambers worldwide, packaging customers have convenient access to SCA's industry-leading testing and validation services.
