Stahlin Enclosures Release date: September 12, 2006
Belding, MI: Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures, manufacturer of the world's most frequently specified fiberglass enclosure products, now has product literature featuring its ControlTower(TM) series available. This product literature provides complete details and specs for all of 62 new standard sized ControlTower(TM) enclosures.
The Stahlin ControlTower(TM) Series has been designed for use in larger industrial control systems and machine tool control panels. Their industrial look and ruggedness offer the most practical solution to many applications and are well suited for both indoor and outdoor environments in such diverse applications as chemical processing, petroleum/refining, pulp and paper, mining, transit, marine, agriculture, and food/dairy. These larger size wall mount or freestanding enclosures are designed for the maximum available space for electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical control circuits.
Details on the key features of the ControlTower(TM) Series are included in the literature. The series is available in over 360 configurations in 62 sizes, gasketed or bonded windows are available and the series is adaptable for flange mounted disconnect handles. In addition, the enclosures are water and rain tight, as well as corrosion resistance and have no sidewall obstructions. Other features highlighted are ControlTower(TM) flanged covers, padlocking hasps, mounting feet or eyebolts where applicable; and molded in panel mounting studs or inserts.
Stahlin's ControlTower(TM) large sized enclosures are now UL/CSA 12, 3R, 4X and IEC IP66 rated and available in 62 new standard sizes ranging from 48" x 36" to 90" x 72"! Stahlin's ControlTower(TM) enclosures provide significant cost reductions versus comparably sized stainless steel enclosures...coupled with dramatic weight reductions compared to either carbon steel or stainless steel enclosures. Furthermore, the new range of sizes in ControlTower(TM) is not offered anywhere else in fiberglass.
