AirLoc Washing Machine Pads Quiet a Noisy Laundry Room
Residents of an assisted care facility west of Boston were complaining about noise coming from the laundry room next to their living quarters. With the complaints becoming more frequent, management proposed an investment of $15,000 to have the walls and ceiling of the laundry room lined with damping material.
AirLoc was made aware of the problem and proposed a cost effective solution. Based on the proven benefit of providing isolation/damping under the feet of machinery to reduce structurally transmitted vibration/noise, AirLoc provided specially designed mounting pads to fit under the feet of the washers & dryers. Upon installation, BRAVO, it worked. No transmitted vibration, no noise, and no complaints, with a fraction of the proposed $15,000 investment.
AirLoc Washing Machine Pads are available in convenient packs of four, as shown in the drawing below. These pads will work effectively on all types of small machines where structural transmitted vibration/noise is a problem.
