Comarco's Seven.Five System Expands with the Addition of Several HSDPA Aircards
MTS/HSDPA phones from Sierra Wireless, Novatel and Samsung now supported.
IRVINE, Calif.- August 2, 2006 - Comarco (NASDAQ: CMRO) Wireless Test Solutions today announces that a wide range of UMTS/HSDPA phones are now supported on the popular Seven.Five Wireless Test System. The interface aircards that support these phones add capability for 3.5G data testing worldwide on the Seven.Five platform.
The new releases include: Sierra Wireless AC850 (UMTS/HSDPA 2100) Sierra Wireless AC860 (UMTS/HSDPA 1900) Novatel U730 (UMTS/HSDPA 1900) Samsung ZX 10 (UMTS 1900, GSM/EDGE 850/1900/900/1800)
The Samsung phone adds capability for 3G video, voice and data testing in UMTS 1900 markets such as Canada and the US.
"The Seven.Five platform's unique SBC architecture and Radio Interface Module (RIM) technology allows us to integrate aircards and phones, sometimes as quickly as 3-5 days," notes Greg Maton, senior vice president and GM for Comarco Wireless Test Solutions. "This continues our established industry dominance of the number of supported phones/aircards in our suite of test tools."
Other recently introduced phone/aircards for Seven.Five include: Kyocera KPC650 Kyocera KX5 Samsung A850 Samsung A570 LG RD6000
Pricing ranges from $4000 to $16,000 (US), depending upon system configuration and requirements. Availability is 6 to 8 weeks ARO.
