A New Destination for Interactive Learning Promethean and Riverdeep Collaborate to Produce State-Of-The-Art Digital Resources

Since announcing their collaboration in October 2005 Promethean and Riverdeep have worked to combine the best in Interactive whiteboard technology with Riverdeep's flagship education software the 'Destination' series. From today, the new Riverdeep/Promethean Destination software is available as six different CD-ROMs covering three subjects: two in Maths, two in Literacy and two in Music.
Destination and Activprimary Software:
The series is designed to complement the UK national curriculum at foundation level through to key stage2. It also has the distinct advantage of loading directly into Promethean's Activprimary software allowing teachers instant access to a wealth of interactive content that can help bring a lesson to life. In addition, teachers and pupils can continue to use the powerfully intuitive Activprimary while working with the Destination software.

The combined solution provides fully functional "mouse" capabilities with a simple point-and-click operation to access roll-overs, tool tips and other common features of multi-media content.
