Applied Industrial Technologies
Cleveland, OH: May 31, 2006 - Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE:AIT) has announced a comprehensive line of tool control products that include storage and organization solutions from several industry leaders. Military applications often demand unique requirements for rugged and portable tool containment systems. Applied offers durable tool chests from Craftsman and Armstrong in a wide range of sizes and configurations.
Applied also offers innovative polyethylene foam inserts for easy and safe storage and transportation of tools and components. Dual colored materials make for quick identification of missing tools. The foam is cleanable and highly durable. A complete library of design configurations is available for thousands of tool shapes.
Thinking outside the box, Applied has several different lines of pegboards, hooks, bins, carts and swing panels that provide easy access and organization of maintenance items for tool rooms and shops. Patented clip and hook designs keep tools securely in place on DuraBoard(TM), a polypropylene pegboard with three times greater holding power than traditional pegboard.
Applied has produced a brochure that describes many different options for effective tool storage and organization. The company is an authorized distributor for Craftsman, Armstrong, UFP Technologies, Triton, and several other industrial tool manufacturers. GSA Contract pricing is available from Applied through the GSA Advantage web site and the company's service centers across the country.
