M/A-Com Announces New RoHS Radio Frequency Transformers
RoHS 50 ohm RF Transformers Ideally Suited for Wireless Communications, WLAN, WiMAX and RFID Applicaitons
LOWELL, Mass., May 23, 2006 - M/A-COM, a business unit of Tyco Electronics and a leading provider of wireless radio frequency (RF), microwave and millimeter wave components, today announced new RoHS versions of its reputable 50 ohm radio frequency (RF) transformers. These include the ETC1-1-13 which is one of the most widely used RF transformers in the industry with 4 million shipped last year.

The four new transformers including MABA-007159-000000 the RoHs version of the ETC1-1-13; MABA-007236-C16423 the RoHS version of the ETC1.6-4-2-3; MABAES0060 the RoHS version of the ETC1-1TTR and MABAES0061 the RoHS version of the ETC4-1-2TR can be used in a wide variety of applications including wireless communications, WLAN, WiMAX and RFID. In addition to the 50 ohm transformers, M/A-COM also offers 75 ohm RF transformers for broadband/CATV applications.
