W.A.C. Lighting Company

Release date: April 4, 2006

W2 ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING Division of W.A.C.to Introduce 'Norfolk Series' of Decorative Luminaires at 2006 LightFair International

LAS VEGAS---W2 ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING, a new division of W.A.C. Lighting, will introduce the "Norfolk Series" of decorative luminaires for use for commercial, retail and hospitality applications, at 2006 LightFair International. W2 ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING is a manufacturer and designer of specification grade products for the commercial, hospitality and retail markets. The firm will exhibit its line at at Booth #2429 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas at LightFair International 2006, which is being held from May 30- June 1st.

The "Norfolk Series" features a complete family of architectural styled decorative fixtures that are designed to illuminate today's contemporary commercial interiors. Gently diffusing bowl-shaped shades produce soft, even lighting while their open tops deliver indirect lighting that enhances the environment.

Attractive pendants provide comfortable, ambient lighting by directing light upward and diffusing the downward light. The pendants are offered with diameters ranging from 24 to 48 inches, and can be extended from the ceiling with stems. Styles are available with either incandescent or compact fluorescent lamping options. Energy efficient Tri-tube and quad CFL lamps, which consume 66 percent less energy than comparable incandescent bulbs, are available.

The series includes ADA sconces, ceiling mounts and close-to-ceiling luminaires, which are available with opal glass or opal acrylic diffusers, and can be coordinated for a complete decorative look throughout the area. Platinum and Bronze finished metalwork is offered with all fixtures. State-of-the-art electronic ballasts provide instant starts and long lamp life for "Norfolk" fixtures.

In addition, W2 ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING is introducing "Architectural Elements," a series of large glass pendants; ADA Wall Sconces; Wall Washers; "Precision Spots" series of upscale, die cast aluminum track heads; "Precision Modules" series of multiple recessed spotlights; and "Flexrail2," a line voltage two-circuit rail system.

W2 ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING will utilize W.A.C. Lighting Company's extensive manufacturing capabilities, product development and engineering in its ISO 9001-certified, production facilities in China. The division will also share W.A.C.'s west coast distribution center and offices in City of Industry, California, and corporate headquarters and east coast distribution center in Garden City, New York.
