To gain MIL Vo approval, products undergo rigorous testing to assess projectile resistance levels and meet technical requirements set forth by the U.S. military. The ballistic resistance of the equipment is determined using high-caliber, misshaped projectiles at a prescribed velocity within a defined range of distance. Certified products can withstand an impact of 650 feet per second.
