Methuen, MA, January 9, 2008 - 3M Touch Systems, Inc., a wholly-own subsidiary of the 3M Company and a leading innovator and manufacturer of touch technology, announces today its alignment within the 3M Electro and Communications Business (ECB), a leading supplier of innovative solutions to the electronics, electrical, and telecommunications industries. 3M Touch Systems was previously part of the 3M Display and Graphics Business.

The 3M Electro and Communications Business operates in more that 60 countries around the world, offering numerous technologies and products for the electronics market. Key product offerings that will extend Touch Systems' product offering to touch device manufacturers are flexible circuits, tapes and binding films, gaskets and adhesives, static control products, cable assemblies, and backplane solutions. 3M Touch Systems provides industry-leading touch solutions that include the MicroTouch(TM) ClearTek(TM) II capacitive touch systems product family, MicroTouch(TM) EX II capacitive electronics, and MicroTouch(TM)-brand general purpose and chassis/kiosk touch displays.
