WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Biotechnology Industry Organization announces that representatives of biotech and pharmaceutical companies, academic research institutions and licensing professionals, as well as investors attending the BIO International Convention Business Forum can now begin to request One-on-One business development meetings through BIO's proprietary partnering system. The BIO International Convention, the global event for biotechnology, will be held May 3-6 in Chicago, Ill.

"The Business Forum is the world's largest life sciences partnering event. It is an unparalleled opportunity for those in the industry to gather in one place, at one time to engage in business discussions regarding collaborations and partnerships," said Jim Greenwood, BIO President and CEO. "These partnering meetings held at the Business Forum are critical to developing collaborations and deal making to further advance innovations that help heal, fuel, and feed the world."
