Groschopp, Inc., a supplier of best in class fractional horsepower motors and gearmotors, announced that the company was awarded an outstanding supplier rating for the first half 2008 performance by the Eaton Corporation Truck Division. Groschopp has worked with Eaton Truck for over 10 years to design and manufacture a customized, DC motor integrated assembly for their truck transmission applications.
Eaton Corporation, a broadly diversified international corporation, is a world leader in electrical systems and components for power quality, distribution, and control; hydraulics components, systems and service for individual and mobile equipment; systems for commercial and military aircraft, intelligent truck drivetrain systems; automotive systems for engines, powertrain, fuel economy, and safety.
The demanding supplier standards that are set by Eaton Truck include quality standards for parts, delivery performance, and timely response to inquiries. Groschopp achieved a score of higher than 99.99% on quality of parts, and 99% for on-time delivery. Eaton's appreciation of Groschopp's responsiveness was noted by Jerry Ganski, Eaton Systems Engineer, in a recent communication that said, "Your organization is very responsive to issues and reacts quickly -which is especially important to Eaton. . ."
