BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – Homebuilders, remodelers and interior designers focused on quality and boosting profitability have 19 great reasons to recommend Whirlpool® products to their customers, thanks to 19 Whirlpool® kitchen and laundry appliances that have earned the Good Housekeeping Seal from the Good Housekeeping Research Institute (GHRI).
Founded in 1900 for the purpose of improving the lives of consumers and their families, the GHRI is the consumer product evaluation lab of Good Housekeeping magazine. Products which carry the Good Housekeeping Seal – such as the Whirlpool® French door refrigerator with MicroEdge® shelves, Whirlpool Gold® Series Dishwasher with PowerScour™ and Whirlpool Duet® laundry pair – carry a two-year limited warranty as part of the magazine's consumer policy.

Research has found that 94 percent of all consumers recognize the Good Housekeeping Seal; 89 percent of consumers are more inclined to buy products carrying the GH Seal when choosing between similar products; and, 40 percent of consumers are willing to pay more for an appliance with the GH Seal.
The Whirlpool® French door refrigerator with MicroEdge® shelves (WRF736DA) is the latest product from the brand to earn the Good Housekeeping Seal. The refrigerator provides builders a way to offer homeowners more kitchen storage thanks to MicroEdge® shelves that offer 25 percent more usable shelf space , and the In-Door-Ice® system that creates more space in the refrigerator compartment.
