ANCA Pty Ltd
25 Gatwick Road
Bayswater North, VIC 3153
Australia

Press release date: October 13, 2005

In less than 18 months after its initial showing at the 2004 Grindtech exhibition in Germany, ANCA has manufactured the 100th RX7 machine. When the compact manufacturing machine was launched in April 2004, it took the machine tool industry by storm receiving tremendous international attention and an immediate influx of orders. The concept for the machine was based on feedback from our customers, and proves ANCA's winning formula of having the capability and ability to both design and manufacture a machine which suits the specific critical needs and demands of its customers.

Secrets of success

"Our extensive market research revealed that the market needed a compact manufacturing machine which is not only highly accurate, but is also flexible enough to be able to handle a wide variety of tasks without having a huge price tag. Our customers have told us that the RX7 has an unbeatable price-performance relationship, and sales have reflected this feedback", said Linsey Siede, ANCA Group General Manager.

The objective of the ANCA RX7 design team was to develop a machine which matches and exceeds today's demands in CNC tool grinding. The RX7 delivers fast cycle times, extreme accuracy, superior surface finish and the flexibility to tackle a wide variety of tasks. The features and benefits of the RX7 suit the requirements of companies that specialise in all facets of tool manufacturing.

"We thoroughly analysed the current and future market needs during the concept and product development of the RX7. To further enhance the process, we also involved our customers during those stages, and they provided us with an invaluable insight into what is needed to be successful in their business. We have many very happy RX7 customers - Centrax* in the United Kingdom being one of them. Centrax researched the machine tool industry before deciding upon the ANCA RX7, and are absolutely happy with their purchase".
