SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass., March 1, 2012 - Since 1875, Hyde has distributed blades to various manufacturers across all types of industries including leather, cloth and textile, packaging products, food processing, tire and rubber and several others. To honor the company's long-standing history, as well as its customers and blades, Hyde IBS is asking its customers uncover their Hyde blade applications, and provide an answer to the following question: "What's your APP?"

"By hosting this contest, we hope to acknowledge our customers' spirit of innovation, and also recognize our founder Isaac Hyde for starting a company that, for 137 years, has served such a wide array of industries. By sharing the unique applications of Hyde blades, customers will be entered into a random drawing for one of 10 $100 American Express gift cards. Contest runs from March 1, 2012 to May 31, 2012. The winners will be announced June 15, 2012. Participants will be judged on their response to the question and uncommon use of Hyde IBS products.
