Efficiency in batch processing requires vessels that meet the specific size and mixing requirements for each unique batch. Lee Industries, Inc. custom designs batch processors from pilot plant scale-up size to 6,000 gallon production units...each with tested and proven mixing options to meet those processing parameters. For liquids with low viscosities, below 10,000 CPS, various top-, side-, and bottom-entry propeller-type mixers and dispersers are available individually and in combination with other types of agitation.
For higher product viscosities that may reach 2,000,000 CPS, various scrape-surface agitators are offered. The capabilities of these reliable single-motion and double-motion agitators are expanded by special designs that allow those configurations to be inclined or used in combination with other mixers and high-shear dispersers. Many of these mixing options are available for product testing in our pilot lab facility.
