Select Fabricators, Inc.
5310 North St., P.O. Box 119, Bldg. 5
Canandaigua, NY, 14424
USA

Press release date: April 7, 2006

Canandaigua, NY: Reaching a new level of clean manufacturing, Select Fabricators, Inc. now has an ISO Class 5 certified environment supported by an ISO Class 7 clean room. This facility provides strict particulate control vital to the production of industrial barrier bags, component bags and shielded enclosures such as the tents, shrouds and covers needed to protect sensitive equipment of all shapes and sizes. The Fed. Std. 209 Class 100 (ISO Class 5) certified environment is available for the manufacture and assembly of flexible packaging for industrial, military and medical components without detrimental bioburden effects.

Select Fabricator's (SFi) new low particulate clean room environment produced large poly bags, sensitive equipment covers, and EMI shielded tents for customers after its installation in April 2004. The clean room's function is to filter out all particles and control both tempertature and humidity. A Class 100 clean room means that the room may contain a maximum of 100 particles per cubic foot of air. To keep that in perspective, according to experts who measured particlulates, there can up up to one million particles in a cubic foot of space in the typical office building.

Where do these particles come from? People, the outside environment and manufacturing process all release praticles into the atmosphere. These particlulates can severly damage sensitive components like optics, circuit boards and relays. Manufacturing in a clean room environment enhances product quality and reliability.

Recent SFi products have been designed for corrosion control, moisture/vapor barriers, electro-magnetic shielding concerns and veternarian wound care. "Our facility is based on a 'clean room manufacturing' philosophy, stated Gary Winch, Chief Operating Officer, "We started at the very beginning and established processes and procedures to maintain a quality, controlled site for assembly and packaging, With this background, we were easily able to expand to include clean rooms and clean room environments. This gives our customers extra flexiblity when specifying the products they want us to manufacture."

Select Fabricators is located in Canandaigua, New York. Founded in 2000, it is privately owned. For more information contact: Select Fabricators, Inc., +1.585.393.0650, fax +1.585.393.1378, eMail oselectf@rochester.rr.com. Mailing address: P.O. Box 119, Canadaigua, NY 14424.
