Paltalk Messenger to Offer Users McAfee Security Products to Protect Against Online Threats
SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 28 / -- McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE), McAfee, the global leader in Intrusion Prevention and Security Risk Management, today announced that it has partnered with Paltalk, the leader in Instant Chat, to offer McAfee® security products to users of the latest release of the Paltalk Messenger, called Version 8.3. This new version of the Paltalk Messenger will support user-generated chat rooms with 3000+ members, as well as instant messaging (IM) with buddies on AOL, MSN, Yahoo! and ICQ. McAfee's products will be offered to all of Paltalk's four million users and promoted via email campaigns, banners and other marketing programs.
Roughly 70,000 of Paltalk's subscribers can be found chatting in one of 5000+ chat rooms at any given time, making it the world's most popular voice and video chat service. Additionally, as IM technology continues to emerge as an increasingly popular form of communication, Paltalk's award-winning IM hosting service allows users to merge and access all of their chat services from one easy-to-use interface, eliminating the need to be signed into multiple services at once.
