With reengineered solver technology and meshing concept, SIGMASOFT® v5.0 can cut simulation time required in elastomer applications. Meshing technique uses unstructured meshes, which can automatically mesh finer regions where complex thermal and flow phenomena take place, such as part boundaries and thin walls. It can also save mesh elements in regions where fewer interactions take place. Through parallelization, solver architecture makes it possible to exploit potential of multi-core technology.
